About our Organization

The Jewish Student Union at The College of New Jersey is a small organization, but it is one of the most active on campus. We are growing quickly, but we are still small enough to fulfill each member's individual needs. Between 1 and 3 events are scheduled per week, including religious, social, and community service activities. All activities throughout the year are free to attend and there is no charge to join the Jewish Student Union. Additionally, all of our activities and events are open to the TCNJ community and members are encouraged to bring both Jewish and non-Jewish friends.

Religious activities include:
Regular Friday Night Shabbat Services
Sukkah Building

Hanukkah Party
Tu B'Shevat Celebration
Passover Seders
And Much More...

Cultural activities include:
Holocaust speakers
Programs about Israel
Holiday Parties
Baking Jewish Food
And Much More...

Social activities include:
Monthly Bagel Brunches
Bowling/Poker/Game Night
Ice Skating
Pizza Parties
Apple Picking
And Much More...

In addition, every March to commemorate Jewish Awareness Month programming is greatly increased to at least 3 events per week. They include a keynote speaker, a family Shabbat dinner and service, a campus-wide community service project, social activities, and other great programs. The Jewish Student Union is constantly expanding in size and presence on the campus of The College of New Jersey. We are always welcoming new members, regardless of the time of year or one's year of study. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like to meet in person.
